Xsplit is an expense-splitting application developed as a project under Sun Tzu Technologies. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Xsplit handles your data.

1. Overview

Xsplit is designed to work completely offline.

We do not require account registration, and we do not collect personal data from users.

All information you enter into the app remains stored locally on your device.

2. Information We Collect

We do NOT collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data.

The app may store the following data only on your device:

• Trip / event names
• Member names (entered manually by you)
• Expenses and amounts
• Currency selections
• Settlement records
• Categories and notes

This information:

• Never leaves your phone
• Is not accessible to Sun Tzu Technologies
• Is not shared with third parties

3. No Account / No Tracking

Xsplit does not use:

• User accounts
• Analytics tracking
• Advertisements
• Third-party trackers
• Cloud databases
• Background monitoring

We cannot see your data because it never reaches our servers.

4. Data Storage

All data is stored locally using on-device storage (SQLite database).

If you uninstall the app, your data will be permanently deleted unless you manually back up your device.

5. Data Sharing

We do not:

• Share your data
• Sell your data
• Upload your data
• Analyze your expenses

Your financial information stays entirely private.

6. Children's Privacy

Xsplit does not knowingly collect any personal information from children or adults. Because no data is collected, the app is safe for general audiences.

7. Security

Since data never leaves your device, security depends on your device protection.

We recommend:

• Using device passcode / Face ID
• Enabling encrypted backups

Sun Tzu Technologies cannot recover lost data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if features change in the future. Updates will be posted with a new "Last updated" date.
